Their Toner vs. Ours
Toner is more involved than it looks. The ink is contained within an incredibly tiny plastic smooth sphere, allowing it to move freely from the cartridge to the machine. Proper toner will always look like smooth spheres close together under a microscope. Whereas we use proper toner, some of our competition does not. Poor quality toner has poor structure, appearing like coarse sand under a microscope, which could lead to potential damage to the cartridge or printer.
Their Cartridge vs. Ours
Cartridge design is a trademark item that is purposefully designed by the printer companies to fit their printers. Amazon Toner is licensed to use the original designs in our remanufacturing process, taking the empty cartridges and restoring them to their former glory. Some remanufacturers, however, deliberately alter the frame of the cartridge to deviate from the original design for cost savings. This leads to jamming issues, as it is not designed specifically for the printer, and could result in it being completely stuck in the machine.
Thier Parts vs. Ours
The internals of the toner cartridge are the most important aspect of the remanufacturing process, leading to a host of printer issues if not done properly. Amazon Toner has secured licensing and contracts from the major printer companies to use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) grade parts in our process, giving you the same quality at a reduced price. Other remanufactures may use non-OEM parts, leading to printer issues such as fading, printer lines, toner bleed and other issues.
CDK Capability
What is CDK?
CDK is a proprietary software for car dealerships that is used for tracking sales and other financial aspects of the dealership. The software was built specifically for car dealerships for more work efficiency.
CDK and Car Dealerships
While there are many other companies that offer a similar service, all car dealerships are required to use CDK brand printers if they are using the software.
CDK Printers
While CDK printers are exact copies of the printers from major companies like HP, CDK printers will not accept HP brand cartridges and will only accept CDK brand cartridges, even if the cartridges are exactly the same in structure and internals. This leads to some remanufacturers being unable to provide for customers that have CDK printers.
Amazon and CDK
All Amazon Toner brand cartridges work with both CDK and original brand printers, giving much needed flexibility for our cartridges to satisfy all customers! Furthermore, inventory space is reduced to half for CDK customers who buy Amazon cartridges, as they would normally have to store both CDK cartridges and OEM cartridges.
